As of today, “Hoy También Se Sale”, the fourth album by Bilbao’s very own THE DALTONICS, is now available. And in glorious vinyl format.
Ten high-octane tracks packed with their unique take on rock and roll. In this latest work, the Bilbao quintet distills their wildest and most direct influences, riding the line between the British pub rock of Dr. Feelgood and The Pirates, the raw, primitive garage rock of The Sonics or The Fuzztones, and that unmistakable swagger of badass rhythm & blues in the purest style of Los DelTonos and The Bishops.
True to their “Hot Rock Irreverente” (Irreverent Hot Rock) label, the band uses Spanish lyrics designed as a weapon of mass entertainment. Steering clear of pretentious introspection, they employ street-level storytelling and caustic humor to ironically portray midlife crises, neighborhood dramas, and late-night partying, crafting a social commentary as deep as it is hilarious, where they even laugh at themselves.
