AKATZ - Dias Mejores - mini CD

With the release of their first album, “12 Años de Éxitos” (12 Years of Hits), AKATZ puts end to a long period of search, training and experimentation. But new horizons open immediately for our heroes. In 2006 the mini-CD “Dias Mejores” (Better Days) is released and here we can find what since then has been AKATZ’s musical personality. The origin of the record is “Better Days” a track sung English dealing with the eternal topic of love-loneliness. Three more tracks captured at Roberto Sanchez’s A-Lone studios complete the record: “Sunday” a lounge-ska also sung in English and two themes that since then are permanent in their live sets, “Esa Chica” (a cover of the classic “I Won’t Let You Go” by Keith & Ken) and the instrumental “Lovely”.

A video-clip showing AKATZ in action was shot for the occasion and it was widely programmed by local and independent TV stations in Spain. “Better Days” is also included as a video track in this mini-CD.
